The journey of losing weight doesn’t always have to be so dull and boring. In order to keep motivating ourselves, it is true that we should always keep changing things up a bit from time to time, just to keep them interesting. When the porridge becomes all too boring, we know we have to try something else. But no need to worry, because I’m here with some recipes that won’t take more than 5 minutes, but would still be entirely tasty, and how can we forget the most important thing? These recipes will help you burn fat! Magic, isn’t it? So let’s see what we have.
- Tartine with Blackberry Thyme Salad:
For the preparation, you’ll need to mix the thyme, blackberries, lemon juice, some sugar and kosher salt, all of them to be combined in a medium sized bowl. Then taking a sourdough baguette lengthwise cut it in 4 sections. Put ½ tablespoon butter on each of them, and then put the blackberry salad we just made over it, and voila! You have your sweet little breakfast ready.
- Berry Kale Smoothie:
I’m pretty sure this recipe takes me even less than 5 minutes to prepare, which is great, as it goes well with my extremely busy morning routine. All you need to do, is put Raspberries, ice, shredded kale, some yogurt, honey, banana, wheat germ and almond butter, all in a blender, and then blend all of these things together, up until you have a tasty smoothie ready to drink!
- Hummus Sandwich:
I haven’t ever eaten something so quick to make and so delicious before this Sandwich. Personally, I like to pair this Sandwich up with the Berry Kale Smoothie, and it just becomes heaven. You’ll need to take a whole-grain English muffin, and toast it just how you like it. After this being done, put one tablespoon Hummus over it, and that is literally all. This and the Smoothie make my whole day better!
- Tuna and White Bean Crostino:
First of all, preheat the broiler with the rack in the highest position. Then for making the Tuna salad, you’ll need to add 1 can tuna, 1 can white beans, 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, ¼ tablespoon each, salt and pepper and 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, mixing all of the things together. Place four slices of whole wheat country bread, and spread the salad over them equally. After putting 2 ounce coarsely grated Fontina Cheese over it, broil for about 2-3 minutes.
- Grilled Chicken Cutlets with Summer Succotash:
On a grill pan, after seasoning 4 chicken cutlets with ¼ spoons salt and pepper, each, grill them until they are thoroughly cooked. Alongside, add in 1 cup of frozen baby lima beans into a skillet, which had one tablespoon of olive oil in it. Add in ½ cup corn, and 1 pint grape tomatoes. After stirring for a while, put some parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves in. The Summer Succotash alone can go for the breakfast, and with the grilled chicken it can go as dinner too.
- Fried Brown Rice with Edamame:
Adding brown rice, some soy sauce, eggs, Sriracha, coleslaw mix, edamame, cilantro, salad greens, peanuts, and ginger sesame vinaigrette all together and cooking them will provide you with this delicious dish that is just too irresistible!
